The Treeing Walker Coonhound is an American breed descended from the Walker Foxhound and English Foxhound, developed in the southern United States for hunting raccoons and other tree-climbing quarry. They are fast, determined hunters with keen noses, capable of covering large areas of terrain. TWCs are confident, friendly dogs that are active and energetic both in the field and at home.
